Les Crosets, Portes du Soleil, Switzerland

Les Crosets is part of Les Portes Du Soleil, a huge ski system covering many ski resorts in both France and Switzerland and claims to be the largest interlinked international ski area in the world.

The Hotel de La Telecabine is built in what used to be the old cable car station. As such the hotel is as close to the slopes as you can get. This is not door step skiing this is something more and within a few steps is a major hub of T bars, drags and chairlifts giving immediate access to where ever you would like go, Champery, Switzerland one way and Avoriaz, France the other.

Accessibility for beginners and intermediates is obvious here but the possibilities for better skiers to really cover some ground make this a truly all round resort - you are in sight of the Swiss wall, one of the top ten hardest runs in the world!
